This post is not just about a cool project growing bigger and bigger like a snowball, with boys flying to Miami from all over the USA to be part of it, or hundreds of beautiful emails and messages about how this experience changed their lives… how the opportunity to be part of something meaningful made them dream bigger.
I feel all of it deeply.
At the same time, if you scroll through the feed, you see beautiful posts, amazing trips, successful events… but behind every single one of them there are sleepless nights, lack of time with loved ones, absence of stable relationships, constant pressure, and endless flights that eventually stop feeling as exciting as they did in the beginning.
And yet…
Fashion and my love for it have been the strongest and most stable feeling I’ve ever had through all the hurricanes life created over the years.
FMFW is not just a project where designers show collections. It is about inspiring young people around the country to take something meaningful from life, believe in themselves, and find their own path.
We try to give opportunities to everyone when we truly see passion, heart, and the desire to grow.
And honestly, seeing people become more confident, more inspired, and dream bigger because of something we created… that is probably the most rewarding feeling of all.
