When I saw @1209creative in this full spread in @brides , it truly made me smile the biggest smile. Seriously... I’m still smiling about it. I remember talking to the bride, Julie, on the phone and being so eager to get started on this. All she asked for was a fun, bright pink wedding, leaving total creative freedom in 1209’s hands. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The possibilities were spinning through my brain like crazy. Her mood board was filled with an assortment of painted flowers, fluffy pink accents, and modern terrariums of hot pink sand, cactus and stones. She said yes to it all, and this is what happened when it came to life. Always grateful when a couple puts total trust in 1209. The highlights of my mid-week flower processing for the NAMI Gala. Loved being one of the vendor sponsors for such an amazing cause. The mission of NAMI Dane County is to provide education, support, and advocacy for people affected by mental illness in Dane County. 💕
• I started off with the glorious Cappuccino Ranunculus by cleaning off all the greenery on the stems and clipping off the baby buds (set those aside because I’ll still use them in the bud vases). Absolutely perfect. 🥹
• Then I moved on to painting some white Carnations to create a fun, tie-dyed look to them. I used Design Masters floral paint in hydrangea blue, hyacinth, and herbal.
• Lastly, I was drooling over the cute Butterfly Ranunculus. I got them in a cranberry color, and I just wanted to hang out with them all day long. 🙌🏽🤤
