- 1120 Press is three years old today. Since our inception we’ve published more than 300 stories on Buffalo’s DIY scene, made one full-length documentary in partnership with Shepherd Moon Studios (with a second now in development), and started an indie record label that we’ve somehow managed to not run into the ground. None of it would have been possible without the very cool people we’ve met along the way — artists of all stripes, venue operators and staff, show-goers, promoters, community groups, recording engineers, photogs, videographers, podcasters, DIY biz people and vendors. Thank you to everyone for being cool to us, for all your help and all you do. The talent and DIY spirit in Buffalo is extraordinary.
Jenn Orr’s legacy continues to be felt more than three years after she succumbed to a 20-year struggle with mental illness.
