David Tkatsch (born 91) is well known in the german
psytrance scene. After many years of guitar, cello
and keyboard lessons and moving to Hamburg, he
found his passion for psychedelic dance music in
2011, where he also began to produce this music.
He is known for his Forest/Darkpsy/Hitech/Core
Project DARK SEPTUM (Damaru Records / Darkweb),
which is dominated by a modular synthesized and
atmospheric-dramatic soundscape – in a big range
from 155 to 200 bpm. It’s characterized also by an
ambivalent mixture of melodic-emotional and dark-
spookier parts, in constant change - like life itself in
all its facets.
Musically influenced by various rock and metal
bands, his music often contains elements from
these genres, especially post-black metal. David
plays several musical instruments such as guitar,
keyboard and cello, which he repeatedly
incorporates into his tracks. His sound design is
characterized by dirty synth sounds from his
modular setup and dramatic bassline harmonies.
The storytelling, conceptualization of socially
critical topics or media and cinematic structure of
his tracks are also his trademarks.
Furthermore, he has lots of hobby projects and
bands in the Post Black Metal/Post Metal scene.
These roots are discernible especially in the DARK
SEPTUM project where he sometimes even
integrates electric guitars, played by himself, and
vocals of the lead singer of his Black Metal Band.

Born from the depths of darkness, somewhere between the forests of the mind and the noise of the night, Noise Farm emerged as a sonic project.
With over 10 years of experience behind the decks and 3 years of dedicated professional activity, Noise Farm has carved a niche in the Night Psytrance / Dark Psy / Forest Psytrance scene.
The stage name was inspired by a real experience on a hidden marijuana farm — a place where nature, silence, and inner sounds merged to birth the concept of a “noise farm,” a fertile ground for raw and unfiltered frequencies.
Today, I’m honored to officially join a label whose spirit resonates deeply with my artistic path.
A heartfelt thanks to the open-minded founders and companions of this journey — Space Wizard and Elvan — for their trust, support, and for creating a safe and creative space. 💜
