#BREAKING: The neo-Nazi group White Australia has been officially listed as a banned hate organisation under new federal laws.
Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke says the group emerged after the Nationalist Socialist Network allegedly re-formed under a new name.
The listing means supporting, funding, recruiting or directing the group could now carry penalties of up to 15 years in prison.
White Australia becomes the second organisation banned under the laws, following fundamentalist Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir.

The Federal Court ruled the supermarket raised prices for short periods before advertising them as discounted specials.
