30 years of Trouble at the Henhouse. It’s hard to believe that by 1996, some of the most iconic Hip songs were still yet to be released. At that point we had already gotten unimpeachable albums like Fully Completely and Road Apples, two records so loaded with big tunes that the band already had a greatest hits collection’s worth of singles, and that’s not even taking into account their other albums to date.
And yet, we still hadn’t gotten Ahead by a Century. Or Gift Shop. Or 700 Ft. Ceiling. Or any of the other gems on the Juno Award winning, 8x platinum selling Trouble at the Henhouse, which was released on this day 30 years ago.
