My sweet bakery is 7 today! 🎈🎈🎈 7 years is a long time to do anything but I feel wildly proud of this year, the cakes we have made and the truly wonderful team I get to work with. Every week is full of challenges, something is still always at least a little bit broken and chocolate costs one million pounds now but we have never been busier or better and I think that’s pretty amazing.

Watching the people you truly love get married and getting to make them a cake is the absolute best bit of this job. And candles! Because candles on a wedding cake is so fun and tiramisu because why would you not have tiramisu!

The Pie Shop is back and open for business, baby! The same award-winning** square slices of pizza (always vegetarian/vegan), the same sell out tiramisu and a new dessert especially for summer.
We’re trying out a Sunday afternoon for a chilled out end to your summer weekend. Hot square slices? Yes. Delicious tiramisu? Si. Unbelievable craic in the queue? You’ve got that right.

Very long, very fun wedding cake from Saturday! 🐉🌹 Truly a team effort with redcurrants from @sneakybeets garden and help from various big strong boys to get it into and out of the car ❤️🔥 A nice reminder of the delicious bits of the job after a week of a broken oven and the shop being closed, more long cakes please because I’m really proud of this one and also we own the board now!
