My first overseas trip. New Zealand for an interclub challenge i believe NSW versus well, New Zealand I think or maybe Auckland or Piha 📸 Robyn B
We were very welcomed and well looked after except for a massive low pressure smashed us and a petrol shortage and rations meant we seemed to be pushing various vehicles or trying to score some fuel from anyone that could spare it.
Seen here not helping at all but sporting flares and my McCoy hoodie from my first sponsor @mccoysurfboards
I think I’m 13 or 14
AWSA days of glory!!
What a trip!
Thirty ADF surfers made waves on the NSW South Coast at the 2026 ADF Women’s Surf Development Camp 🌊
Over four days, participants built confidence through surf skills, water safety and rescue training, learning not just how to ride waves, but how to look after themselves and others in the ocean. Led by former World Champion Pam Burridge, the camp brought together beginners and experienced surfers, creating a strong cohort of women supporting each other both in and out of the water.
From first stand-ups to unbroken waves, it’s clear this program is about more than surfing—it’s about resilience, connection and growth.

Has surfing ever made you cry? It sure did to a few people last week in Newcastle. Competition surfing is a kind of torture only the sufferers understand, so we asked @100pambo to walk us through what we just witnessed in @wsl Challenger World. Live now wherever you get your podcasts!
