Monix is one of the many aliases of musician Lance Blaise. Unconcerned with conventional elements of modern techno, Monix's live sets embody relentless and pummeling industrial sounds. Focus is spent on developing dense drones and harsh noise walls with distorted vocal elements and heavy kicks which forcefully defy a 4x4 structure. Monix has released on over 30 different strong techno labels and has been performing exclusively as a live act for over 25 years in the electronic music industry.
Monix’s productions remain to be composed of all analog gear. His live performances consist of his modular hardware setup, but he is also known for his extensive marathon DJ sets combining digital controllerism with analog gear.

Schooled in the Midwest and developed on the West Coast, his work encompasses well over 30 years of combined DJ/production experience, and over 15 years of record label management.
His live pa and DJ sets have been seen in various cities across the US, and a few years into his new alias, he's signed releases to Sleaze Records, BEK Audio, Blank Code, Children of Tomorrow, Devotion, Suara, Impact Mechanics, TMM, SUB_tl, Ascetic Ltd., Vexed Sphere, etc.
