🤍 Happy Mother’s Day Today, we celebrate every mother. The mothers finding their feet in the newborn days. The mothers navigating sleepless nights and feeding journeys. The mothers carrying strength quietly, even on the hard days. At 1000 Days of Grace, we have the privilege of witnessing motherhood in its rawest and most beautiful form every single day. We see the love. We see the sacrifice. We see the resilience behind the moments that often go unseen. To every mother, grandmother, caregiver, and woman nurturing a little life with love… today we honour you. Thank you for all that you are and all that you give 🤍 With love, From all of us at 1000 Days of Grace #MothersDay #1000DaysOfGrace #GraceInAction #EveryMotherEveryBaby #MaternalCare First1000Days WomenSupportingWomen

🤍 Workers’ Day | Honouring Our Doulas Today, we take a moment to recognise the women who are at the heart of everything we do. Our doulas. The ones who show up, day after day, into spaces that require patience, compassion, and strength. The ones who sit beside mothers in uncertainty, offering guidance, reassurance, and care without judgement. This work is not always seen. It is not always easy. But it is deeply meaningful. It is found in the quiet moments. In the late conversations. In the small breakthroughs that change everything for a mother and her baby. At 1000 Days of Grace, our work is built on the presence of these women. Women who choose to care. Women who choose to support. Women who make sure that no mother walks alone. Today, we honour you. We thank you. And we celebrate the difference you make every single day 🤍 #WorkersDay #1000DaysOfGrace #DoulaSupport #WomenSupportingWomen #GraceInAction EveryMotherEveryBaby First1000Days

Some of the most meaningful moments in our work are the ones that happen quietly. A mom asking a question she has been holding onto. A gentle adjustment during a feed. A moment of reassurance when everything feels overwhelming. These are not big, dramatic moments… but they are the ones that change everything. At 1000 Days of Grace, we don’t just step in for the milestone moments. We are present in the in-between. The small, consistent, everyday moments that help a mother feel seen, supported, and capable. And that is where confidence begins to grow 🤍 #1000DaysOfGrace #GraceInAction #EveryMotherEveryBaby #MaternalSupport #First1000Days

🤍 Freedom Day Today we reflect on freedom, not only as a moment in history, but as something that should be felt in everyday life. Freedom to be heard. Freedom to be supported. Freedom to access care with dignity. At 1000 Days of Grace, we see every day how important it is for mothers to feel safe, informed, and empowered in their journeys. Because true freedom includes the ability to make choices for yourself and your baby, with the right support behind you. As we honour this day, we remain committed to creating spaces where every mother feels seen, respected, and never alone. Every mother. Every baby. No exceptions 🤍 #FreedomDay #1000DaysOfGrace #GraceInAction #EveryMotherEveryBaby #MaternalCare First1000Days CommunityCare

Antenatal Education | Preparing Before Baby Arrives Preparation for breastfeeding starts before birth. Here, one of our lactation specialists is guiding moms through what to expect, how to begin, and how to feel more confident going into those first moments with their baby. Because breastfeeding is not something you should have to figure out alone. It is something that can be learned, understood, and supported from the very beginning. These sessions create space for questions, reassurance, and real understanding, so that when baby arrives, moms feel ready. At 1000 Days of Grace, we believe that informed moms feel empowered. And empowered moms thrive 🤍 #1000DaysOfGrace #AntenatalCare #LactationSupport #BreastfeedingSupport #GraceInAction EveryMotherEveryBaby First1000Days MaternalEducation

🤍 More Than Support From the tiniest beginnings… to thriving little lives. Behind journeys like these is the power of support from the very beginning. A doula walking beside a mother, helping her feel calm, safe, and held through her birth experience. Because when a mother feels supported, birth can become something powerful, something beautiful. That support does not end there. It continues in the quiet moments. Guiding, reassuring, and reminding her that her body can do this. These stories are not built in big moments. They are built in consistency, patience, and presence. And when a mother is supported, even the smallest babies grow stronger every day. This is the work of 1000 Days of Grace 🤍 #1000DaysOfGrace #GraceInAction #DoulaSupport #BirthSupport #EveryMotherEveryBaby First1000Days PreemieStrong MaternalCare

🤍 From 900g to Thriving Born at just 900g… Then home at 1.65kg… And now a beautiful, thriving 5.7kg 🤍 All on breastmilk. This is what the journey can look like with the right support. She is not a number. She is not a statistic. She is a little life, full of strength, surrounded by love. And together with her mom, she is part of the 1000 Days of Grace family. This is the heart of our work. Quiet, consistent care that turns the smallest beginnings into the strongest stories. #1000DaysOfGrace #PreemieStrong #BreastfeedingJourney #GraceInAction #EveryMotherEveryBaby First1000Days NICUSupport MaternalCare

✨ Our First Official Grace Trainees 🤍 This is a very special moment for us. We have officially welcomed our first group of Grace Trainees. Women who were once mothers in the wards we serve. Women who walked their own journeys through pregnancy, NICU, and KMC… and who are now stepping forward to support other mothers. Just like Tracy, who was once a mom in the KMC ward, went on to become a lactation counsellor, and is now part of our team. Today, we have 13 incredible moms who we have supported, now beginning their training journey with us. Over the next nine months, they will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to walk alongside other mothers. And from there, they will have the opportunity to step into employment within our programme. Power women, we empower our communities. And through this, we are able to extend even more support to the mothers who need us most. This is only possible because of the generosity of those who support 1000 Days of Grace. Your donations don’t just support mothers in the moment. They create opportunity, growth, and long-term change. From being supported… to becoming the support 🤍 #1000DaysOfGrace #GraceInAction #WomenEmpoweringWomen #CommunityImpact #EveryMotherEveryBaby First1000Days MaternalCare SupportMothers ChangingLives

🤍 Lactation Support After a C-Section A caesarean birth comes with its own journey. Healing, adjusting, and caring for your baby while your body recovers can feel overwhelming. And when it comes to breastfeeding, many moms wonder… “Will I be able to do this?” The answer is yes. With the right support 🤍 Lactation support is key to guide you through those early moments. Helping you find comfortable positions, supporting baby’s latch, and giving you the reassurance you need while your body heals. Because breastfeeding after a C-section may look different… But it is absolutely possible. At 1000 Days of Grace, we walk alongside mothers through every kind of birth, offering care that meets you where you are. You are not alone in this journey. #1000DaysOfGrace #CSectionAwareness #BreastfeedingSupport #LactationSupport #GraceInAction EveryMotherEveryBaby First1000Days MaternalCare

🤍 C-Section Awareness Month Every birth story is different. And every mother’s journey deserves to be honoured. This month, we acknowledge and support mothers who have given birth via caesarean section. Whether planned or unexpected, a C-section is still a birth. It is still strength. It is still motherhood. For many women, recovery can feel physically and emotionally overwhelming. And breastfeeding after a C-section can come with its own challenges. That is where support matters most. At 1000 Days of Grace, we walk alongside mothers in every kind of birth journey, offering guidance, reassurance, and care without judgement. Because how a baby is born does not define the love, strength, or capability of a mother. Every mother. Every baby. No exceptions 🤍 #1000DaysOfGrace #CSectionAwareness #GraceInAction #EveryMotherEveryBaby #BirthSupport BreastfeedingSupport First1000Days MaternalCare

💡 Fact Check Friday | Doulas Matter Did you know that having a doula can significantly improve a mother’s birth and postpartum experience? Research shows that continuous support from a doula can lead to: ✨ higher rates of successful breastfeeding ✨ reduced stress and anxiety during labour ✨ increased confidence for mothers ✨ a more positive overall birth experience A doula does not replace medical care. She complements it, offering emotional support, practical guidance, and a calm, steady presence when it’s needed most. Because sometimes, the difference is not just what is done… but how a mother feels while it’s happening. And no mother should have to go through it alone 🤍 #1000DaysOfGrace #FactCheckFriday #DoulaSupport #GraceInAction #EveryMotherEveryBaby First1000Days MaternalCare

🤍 From 745g to Thriving This little dolly was born at just 745g… and look at her now. We have had the privilege of walking alongside her and her mom through this journey, from those early, fragile days to where she is today. She came in for her appointment, smiling, playing, growing… and still breastfeeding 🤍 No readmissions since discharge. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Because with the right support, even the smallest beginnings can grow into the strongest little lives. #1000DaysOfGrace #PreemieStrong #GraceInAction #EveryMotherEveryBaby #BreastfeedingJourney First1000Days NICUSupport MaternalCare
