#PinADayMay2026 Day 15: Source Material/P4P
I think a lot of Asian-market pins are essentially P4P, but this was the only one so far where I’ve been able to get involved from the beginning instead of just buying secondhand after the fact. Even that was through a proxy rather than joining the chat group myself, because…I don’t speak Chinese. Interestingly, this pin is mostly soft enamel with some hard enamel parts. I don’t know how they did that.

I decided to do the least common plating in my collection: rainbow/anodized metal. It’s always a fun one because it’s a little unpredictable. The two heart-shaped pins are my designs, produced by @vipi.ink and available in my sh0p; the blue one goes on my Frost Giant Loki/Sylvie board, and the tree was inspired by Loki’s timeline tree at the end of season 2.

#PinADayMay2026 Day 13: Effects
Stained glass is easily one of my favorite pin effects, and this stunner by @hunterandconvor puts it to magnificent use. I think there’s also diamond dust on Loki’s horns (it looks subtler than glitter anyway), which is pretty rare in my collection—if I’m right, this might be my only pin that has it. Now that I’m looking closer, I think there’s pearl swirl on the timelines too, or some kind of effect at least.

The smallest pins in my Loki collection are the @laserbrainpatchco beans. These are two DIY beans—I made the kinda chopped-looking one with a nail sticker and clear nail polish, and the nicer one with the resin top is by @salty_sea_turtle . The smallest non-bean pin is probably one of these little Asian-market Frost Giant babs, hanging out on fruit for some reason.
