“Emergence”
The other day, I had the opportunity to perform a solo show as part of a collaboration with RAM @ram.dezin , under the direction of TJO @0xtjo , at Silk Road Chapter 02 hosted by @silkarthouse in Bali. It was an incredible experience to perform in a space where inspiring contemporary artists from around the world had gathered.
TJO @0xtjo , who brought me all the way from Japan for this occasion — I’m deeply grateful to him and hold a great deal of respect.
He seeks to visualize psychological themes such as inner dialogue and trauma through photography, video, and bodily expression.
He sees art as a means of healing and transformation, symbolically and sensorially expressing the fragmentation and multifaceted nature of the self.
Please make sure to check out his works.

Archives of an exhibited installation at CDeX
Used the video and image archives to train a model and generated a “stop motion” fully created with 1s and 0s. ai is getting terrifyingly good. it is a fake video, and yet it made me feel something. I leave it there because it’s making me question what moves us in images. Only that animation (slide 5 out of 8) is made using that technology
Opened some old folders with a bunch of archives, crazy how all those fragments from 21-23 period look better now. Only selected these few but there is a whole book’s worth at least
bonne session, beaucoup de temps à lire, beaucoup de projet avec Matteo, beaucoup de Thierry qui gosse, mon chat a survécu à la jaunisse et mon empreinte carbone est terrible
NEW ARTICLE LIVE — Silk Magazine
Our editor-in-chief @nina_knaack sat down with artist @0xtjo to reflect on the performance he directed during Silk Road Chapter 02, featuring @nouses_motomi and @ram.dezin
During a studio shoot 1.5 years ago, something happened on the blue painted floors of TJO’s studio: red makeup melted off the models’ bodies and began to smear and pool everywhere. Marks appeared where limbs had been or hovered on the blue set.
These blotches were not designed as artworks, yet for TJO it suddenly clicked that they read as testimonies. “Here the body made its own record,” he says. And therefore the question changed for the artist: instead of suggesting motion inside an image, could he stage conditions in which motion left a form?
The answer to this question and more can be found in our latest story. Find the link in our bio to go to Silk Magazine.
