The Premise (@thepremise_ ) was created to make room for intention. In conversation with founder Seyi Ola (@0lax2 ), we reflect on underground hospitality, intimacy without spectacle, and the value of spaces that feel lived-in rather than performed.
Moving between fashion, design, and hospitality, Seyi speaks on creating environments where gathering is ceremonial, atmosphere moulds connection, and guests become participants. Between considered dinners and The Premise’s first wearable object- The Premise Stud, emotional, physical and sensory proximity sit at the core of the practice.
With editions in New York and Lagos at OnaLagos, The Premise continues to unfold as a living framework, prioritising resonance and intention over immediacy and display respectively.
