Turning art into impact 🌊🎭 As someone working at the intersection of storytelling and nature impact, I’m always curious how environmental themes find their way onto the stage. That’s why I sat down with Dominik White Slavkovský @0domco0 to talk about his new choreography “6 Till Midnight”, created within Next Generation at Staatsballett Berlin. His piece approaches a serious reality through an unexpected lens: coral reefs are disappearing — one of the most fragile ecosystems on Earth is fading — and Dominik translates this crisis into a world of pop-art satire and physical storytelling. Bright surfaces meet uncomfortable truths, asking what remains when beauty vanishes beneath the waves. Next Generation gives dancers the freedom to explore their own artistic voice — and “6 Till Midnight” is a striking example of how the next generation of artists engages with the defining issues of our time. @freunde.staatsballettberlin Art can move us.
