We at Odd Frequencies are building something truly special in Wichita. We know this because you’ve all been telling us! From scaling up our production to booking out-of-state talent, we would’ve never imagined that we’d be where we are after only four shows. To express thanks to our lovely patrons, we decided not to make you wait too long for the fifth! Anyone who’s been paying attention can tell you that Odd Frequencies has been on a roll. At our last show, UNDERTONE, we managed to raise nearly $1000 for a cause we feel very passionate about. Since then we’ve been getting asked about our next event and it’s time we reveal what we’ve been cooking! UPDATED EVENT (now a fundraiser): With our first two shows exceeding all expectations, there’s no question that Odd Frequencies has quickly put itself on the map. The support we’ve received is overwhelming, and because of it we’re thrilled to announce the next event we’re cooking. Odd Frequencies presents: UNDERTONE With a monster lineup of local favorites, this event will be one you won’t want to miss. DJ Sunshine will be headlining on our VOID system for the very first time, Avitra and Daal.Jeem will be sharing the decks for an extended B2B set, and DJ Tay will be kicking us off for a night that will have you dancing from beginning to end. Introducing our headliner for Odd Frequencies Presents: SEQUENCE! One of Chicago’s fastest rising up-and-coming House artists, @galvez.official , known by his stage name Galvez (formerly Gabe Glvz), has been producing since 2017 and DJing since 2023. Gabe had his first official label release in April 2024, and has received huge support since then from names like Cloonee, Mau P, Chelina Manuhutu, Blackchild, Iglesias, Solardo, and many more. In the past two years, he’s already made his way to behind the booth at some of Chicago’s most respected venues, including Spybar, Soundbar, Prysm, Smoke & Mirrors, and many more. From his bouncy bass lines to his percussive grooves, Gabe’s set will definitely have the dance floor moving from start to finish!

Earlier this month, we packed the dancefloor for our debut party CADENCIA (if you were there, you know). This night set the tone for what our collective is all about, and now it’s time to continue the pattern, with our first lineup featuring talent from Chicago - the birthplace of House music. New VJ Venue alert 🚨 this Saturday I'll be with Video Jockeying for Cadencia by @0ddfrequencies with a bunch of amazing DJs @electro.divas @marcus_el_ict @kendrixxmusic @dj_brke @daal.jeem at the one and only @lions.lounge.316 🦁 What's a VJ Venue? It's any place with projectors, LED walls, or TVs set up for a live Video Jockey to plug in and perform with the musicians. Some venues like Lions Lounge and @revlounge316 already have awesome projector systems and @tribalrootscollective is known for their insane LED panels, but anyone can pop up anywhere with the right setup 📽️ See y'all in a few days 🥶🤯
