Oh Anna, I'm so happy for you. There's no greater feeling than seeing the people you care about be unabashedly themselves, and mirror that same care and love they receive onto others. And for all the days that lie ahead, you and Ryan have each other and that's what makes sense and how it should be.
If someone asked me what kind of person that you are, I'd tell them you have a crazy loud laugh. You can hear that shit across the damn town, it's literally that loud. And that you cry a lot and easily. It's a charming thing, I swear. And that you make others feel cared for, seen, loved, all of that shit. Everyone who knows you is so lucky to have you, and everyone that you've ever told you love them is so fortunate to hear those words. Because I know you mean it every single time. We are so lucky to be your friends and family.
You are someone who provides other certainty, confidence, and belief that you are meant to be as you are, and nothing else. That you don't have to try so hard to prove yourself. You are someone who has always been there for me as well; through all the loss and grief, and through all my better days. From forcing you to adopt my foster dog, leaving scum of the earth, and to being the best versions of ourselves we can be. You're someone who makes others feel like they don't have to be alone through anything and more people need a friend like you. I can't say this about a lot of people, but I can absolutely with you.
Thank you for being who you are to me, and continuing to be that same person no matter how much time has gone by. Thank you for always choosing me back, too. Congratulations to you both. I'm so proud of you. π
