A chapter has closed, carved into stone. The ups and downs were testing yet we prevailed. The question, “is it all over?” was asked more than once. We fixed, mended, and overcame time and time again.
System failures were seemingly an annoyance that needed fixing rather than a catastrophe. However the fried electronics meant we wouldn’t have adequate emergency comms. Safe retreat being the only option.
Reaching Ireland was the target, though our goals more personal. Transcendence, strength, and brotherhood.
