After 3 weeks of being in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, I’ve eaten endless dishes to make up for not being able to visit for almost 2 1/2 years.
Now back in London I decided to try making this simple but incredibly flavoursome dish, Daging Masak Kicap, Soy Sauce Beef.
I made mine using thick slices of flank cut across the grain for a nicer tender bite and slow cooked it in lemongrass, spices, spice & chilli paste & sweet soy sauce.
Utterly delicious eaten with hot rice and sliced cucumber. Definitely worth making lots as flavours get better the next day or two.
