We bring Dido and Aeneas to @spoletofestivalusa , a bold retelling of Purcell's tale infused with deep psychology, bold historiography and, of course, virtuosic acrobatics.
Then our Mahler project, Urlicht Primal Light, with @franuimusicbanda heads to the @elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, @festspillene in Bergen, @volkstheaterwien in Vienna and @tirolerfestspieleerl in Erl, joined by young artists from each local community, reimagining Mahler's songs as folk music haunting a landscape of ghosts.
