This is becoming extremely concerning.
We were clearly informed that payments would be made today, yet it is already past 4pm Nigerian time on the last working day of the week, and Showmax has still not fulfilled this promise. This means we are now being pushed into another weekend without pay which is completely unacceptable.
We cannot continue to live on repeated assurances without results. This situation shows a serious lack of urgency and consideration for the workers affected. Why make commitments that are not honored, especially on something as critical as salaries?
We expect immediate action to ensure that payments are processed without any further delay today. Going into another weekend unpaid is not an option.
If this is not resolved promptly, we will have no choice but to escalate this matter further and make it more public.
