Screenworks is thrilled to partner with
@screenqueensland and
@sbs_australia on the tantalising second season of Taste of the Tropics.
Audiences will be taken on a delicious culinary journey across North and Far North Queensland with episode hosts comedian and actor Steph Tisdell, restaurateur Oliver James and scientist Sharon Cavanagh-Luskin.
Taste of the Tropics is a hands-on initiative that creates real opportunities for filmmakers while supporting the development of world-class screen content that showcases regional talent.
As part of the talent development program behind the scenes, three producing teams led by Caden Pearson, Tamera Simpson and Kate Boylan-Ascione received $35,000 in funding to develop their episodes Share Plates, Foodie Friends – with Oliver James and Tropical Innovators. All were carefully crafted under the guidance of independent Supervising Producer Karen Warner and assistance from Brisbane post-production house

Episodes will drop on SBS Food and SBS On Demand from Thursday 30 April.
