But the journey to getting there wasn’t easy. “I went to Catholic school, which meant I spent most of high school convinced that if I so much as dry-humped someone I would get pregnant,” she writes. “The guilt was intense. I would take Plan B constantly. Of course, the great irony is that when I did actually want to get pregnant, it didn’t happen.”
