Whether he remembers it or not, Nate has been hearing stories about projecting Mullaghmore and Teahupo’o since he was 5 years old. We’d come back to the North Shore with new stories every Winter. Mostly stories of us getting our asses handed to us and dreams of what those reefs might hold in the future. And so, to sit with Nate and Koa all these years later to calibrate our experiences was so much fun and a real gift. Then and now, with a lot of laughs along the way.
