Saturday’s commencement address at the American University of Nigeria was the culmination of more than a decade of reporting and fighting to ensure the world did not forget the Chibok girls.
I now realise it was never simply about telling the story. It is an assignment to help them, and others like them, whose lives have been shaped by terrorism and conflict.
The work continues.
