‘Quietly Flowing’ continues my ongoing fascination with light and how it can manipulate, reinterpret or extend the boundaries of architectural spaces. This work considers water systems in relation to the urban environment - how water moves - both gently and powerfully through its surroundings - and how these natural currents can be mirrored and interpreted within a constructed space.
‘Quietly Flowing’ sits alongside other new commissions by the very talented Vipoo Srivilasa - ‘Water Spirit’, Jamie North - ‘Drift’, Alexander Knox - ‘Time Talker’ and Marta Figueiredo - ‘River of Mists and Shadows’.
