Curating Culture, Preserving Craft.
As the curator for the Adidas Home of Sports store at Jabi Lake Mall—the largest Adidas store in West Africa—I set out to create more than just a retail space. This is a statement. A bridge between tradition and innovation, where Nigerian artisans take their rightful place on the global art stage.
The world often borrows from tradition but rarely gives credit. This space does. This space is proof that heritage and modernity can exist side by side—not just in museums but in spaces where people live, shop, and experience culture.
This is curation with intention. This is design with depth. This is history, living and breathing through every handcrafted detail., every piece tells a story—one of resilience, heritage, and artistry that refuses to be forgotten. This is what preservation looks like. This is what representation feels like.
A new era for design, a new rhythm for craftsmanship. The North has always had a seat at the table—now, the world is paying attention. 🔥
