Good evening sir My son Jayden Alabi at birth was observed to have jaundice. It was assumed not to be a major issue (physiological jaundice) initially, until when he was 2 weeks-old and the jaundice was associated with passage of pale stool and dark urine. Liver Function Test (LFT) was therefore carried out at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in Nigeria and it revealed elevated liver enzymes, with conjugated hyperbilirubinemia. Abdominal ultrasound (scan) was also carried out and this revealed features suggestive of biliary atresia. At 119 days of life, he had a surgical procedure in LUTH called "Kasai portoenterostomy". His stool became normal for about months post-surgery, but afterwards became pale (acholic stool) again, coupled with enlargement of his liver (hepatomegaly), hence a liver transplant is what is recommended for him to survive. He is required to travel to get the liver transplant done and this will cost a lot of money ($35000) 52,500,000 We would therefore appreciate your donation to support Jayden's medical expenses. No amount is too small or big sir/ma. God bless you. Account Details Name-: JAYDEN OLUWAPEMISIRE ALABI Access Bank -: 1869360959
