My name is Olowolafe Oluwadamilola Olawumi, and I am the face behind Bodylush Hairs.
Today makes it 3 YEARS since BODYLUSH HAIRS started 💃 💃 , and my heart is filled with gratitude. I am deeply grateful to God for how far He has brought me for grace, growth, strength, and the unwavering support along the way. I’m thankful for the people He has given me as customers; some customers truly became family.
There were times when the people I expected support from didn’t show up, but God raised strangers who believed in my brand. Today, I’m blessed with a beautiful community of amazing women who have stayed loyal to Bodylush Hairs.
The journey hasn’t been easy. There were so many moments of discouragement, countless times I wanted to give up, but God kept carrying me. Running a business without help is tough, draining, and exhausting and no one really sees that side. Many nights were sleepless; so many times I slept late, thinking, planning, creating new ideas and designs. But look how far God has brought me 🥹.
In the past 3 years, I have sold hair to over 2,000 customers and delivered more than 3,700 wigs, and for that, I am forever grateful. The hard work, consistency, intentionality, and passion I have for this brand are unmatched.
