Learning to stay loyal to my decisions even after the mood passes is one of my biggest signs of growth and maturity.
I used to have to “feel like it” to do it.
I used to need support and motivation to practice self-discipline, especially in the gym and with food.
Somewhere between reading the Compound Effect, Atomic Habits and the 5-Second Rule I got it! And it’s never been forgotten.
1. Less fireworks. More follow through.
2. Feelings are unreliable managers of my future.
3. Discipline isn’t about intensity; it’s about repetition.
