Okay, saying Yolanda was robbed is like saying Valerie didn’t deserve it. Now, Is Yolanda a brilliant Costumier? Empathetically Yes, but your review just water down the hand work of other winners which is very bad and distasteful. On the other hand, let’s talk about Colors of Fire and how the Costume matches the character, you would see intentionally with each interpretation of character, now for The Briggs, there is also intentionality but all the Costumes looks new, in film, the entire Costume doesn’t have to be new, including props. If Yolanda has been nominated severally without winning, maybe she just needs to go back to the drawing board. Again like i said, she is a brilliant Costume designer and i am a big fan of her work.

Esan people my people, I have seen most times where you people pronounce your names with phonetics that doesn't make your names have meaning after saying it, often common with you guys in the media space, but why? You pronounced an igbo name which is not ur mother tongue so correctly "Okereke", but when it got to ur name "Abumere" you pronounced it to sound "oyiboish" , pls where in the whole of Esanland is that name Abumere pronounced the way you said it?? If you must use ur tribal name as ur identity in public spaces, at least put in the effort to learn how to say it correctly, cos you won't find a yoruba, igbo or Hausa people in media spaces pronouncing their names with phonetics just to sound pleasing to the audience, they pronounce it correctly and with confidence. If you must use ur tribal as ur identity, own up to it and say it as it boldly, if you don't knw how to pronounce it correctly, look for someone in ur place to teach you correctly.
